Christmas Under Wraps Cast Review

christmas under wraps cast

Christmas Under Wraps is a 2014 English-language drama romance motion picture directed by Peter Sullivan and written by Jeffrey Schenck and Peter Sullivan. It stars Candace Cameron Bure, David O’donnell, Robert Pine, Kendra Mylnechuk, Brian Doyle-Murray and Joyce Cohen. The film was released on 29th November 2014.

As usual with Hallmark movies, the cast is very good and the chemistry between the leads is nice. The movie is a little more serious than many of their other holiday films and also has a bit of an edge to it.

It’s a nice way to start the season with some heart warming and cuteness. While the story is not original it’s still a good one and I think most people will like this movie.

The movie revolves around a doctor who moves to a small town for work and finds love in a unexpected place. The doctor had everything planned out for her as a third year surgery resident, but when she doesn’t get accepted to the hospital she wanted her whole life starts falling apart. Her boyfriend breaks up with her and she doesn’t get the fellowship that she needed. The only option she has left is to move to the remote Alaskan town of Garland for her job.

When she arrives there she meets the locals and they are all very kind to her. The doctor soon discovers that this small town has a big secret. The movie is a great family friendly movie with some great representation for mixed genders, blended families and LGBTQ+ kids and parents. There are also a lot of jump scares throughout the movie that will keep younger viewers happy and entertained.

This is a nice movie to watch with the family at home during the holidays. It’s a fun little flick with some good representation and some good jump scares that will entertain the family for about an hour or so.

I don’t know that I would recommend it for anyone who isn’t a fan of the genre, but I do think it’s worth watching at least once just to see what it is all about. It’s a fun little movie that isn’t very scary or gory, but it will entertain you and make you laugh a few times. It’s a great way to spend the evening with the family and you can even bring some popcorn to enjoy it with them. It isn’t the best Christmas movie I have ever seen, but it does a good job of keeping you occupied and laughing.
